DIG IT DOES OKAY

We here at Dig It hope all weathered Fay okay. We had some windy gusts and rain. Our hopes that by the end of the day all of our pickings up and packing ups will be returned to its normal state and business will return to normal. Our guests are really tired of the rain and we are sure everyone would like our photo days to return. All in all it was a dreary week and we are looking forward to some sunny playtime. Labor Day is fast approaching marking the end of summer and we are certainly looking ahead to fall. We have lots to do and the rain seems to have stopped for now so our pups need to go out. We will close for now, God bless and have a great week.

THERE IS A STORM A COMIN

First let me apologize for the lack of a blog last Sunday. We experienced a lot of computer difficulty. Our computer just froze and it wouldn't let us do anything. So to catch everyone up on the events at Dig It the last couple of weeks it has been very busy and hot. We have had lots of new faces here and plenty of repeat pups here. Even the rain couldn't get the puppies from lots of playtime. We are trying to get ready for a storm or hurricane around here. Our building is built strong and able to withstand a major Hurricane, but instead of caring for others dogs we will bring our own four legged family members over so we can comfort and care for them. We have picked up all the toys in the yards and all the guys here are looking at us like " What are you doing taking all our fun stuff away?" It is a blessing in disguise I guess that the majority of our visitors leave us today and tomorrow. So we are going to take it a little slow, maybe catch our breath and see how the storm grows through the night. So I will close for now and hope that all are safe and we will catch up with everyone later. God 's blessings to all.

SUMMER DAYS AT DIG IT

Another full week at Dig It has come and gone. We have had quite a few new and old familiar faces here this week. It has been a week for summer storms and rain. It is very apparent that there are a lot of canine friends that are terribly afraid of thunder and rain. What are you going to do? It is Florida and afternoon storms are a pretty common occurrence. It is hard to keep a straight face when you have a 130 pound pooch who wants to climb into your lap when the first clap of thunder hits or a drop of rain spills from the sky. It amazes me though that that same puppy will run rings around you to get to the water hose, so .... We are picking up in our kennel attendance and our customers are coming back so we are extremely blessed. We really thought that it would take us at least a year or better to be able to say our facility is full, but thanks to our loyal customers and friends the word is getting out and we are truly grateful. Thank you to all who have helped to spread the word about Dig It. We have added a new feature this week to our kennel program in that we are trying a new VIP play package. This package allows your pup to spend the night in our playroom/bedroom with the overnight keeper on duty. I don't know exactly how this is going to work yet, but we will let you know next week since we have a VIP customer in house right now. I will say HE LOVES IT. I now need to fold the last of the towels since all the dogs had to be dried a little tonight, summer rain again.
We hope you all have a great week and God bless.
